Client:
Vendetta is a brand which products are mainly purses and other leather items. The woman who started this brand, tailors everything only by hand. The project was realized while working with Mediabasket.
Project goals
The logo had to have some kind of tailoring element. Also the vintage style was really good fit for this project. I started sketching some variants with pen and paper, to explore until I find suitable idea. After a while I decided to incorporate lettering into the name or initials of the logo, because handwritten letters are good symbol for hand-made products. They can also be elongated in order to resemble tailor thread...
Solutions

After few attempts with different wavy pattern encircling the lettering, I finally came up with this simple style. In this way the needle stands out more and get the brand message directly to the viewer.
